The Investigative Unit is responsible for follow-up and proactive criminal, drug, and vice-related investigations as well as internal and pre-employment background investigations. The Investigative Division is also responsible for the dissemination of public information to the media. The Investigative Division is under the administrative command of Lt. Mark D'Esposito and is supervised by D/SFC Jason Kiamos.
